The hampers and gift section features a broad mix of companies, from traditional hamper companies to specialists in baking, cheese, charcuterie and miniature hampers. And of course Sussex Gourmand, which celebrates the Sussex countryside with a strong focus on natural freshness, quality, taste and flavour combinations.

Ethics are important to us too. People are increasingly turning to venison as an ethical meet, with deer culling vital to the countryside to avoid damaging crops, trees, coppices and woodland bird life. Sussex cattle, naturally reared by local farms play their part too, as grazing maintains the South Downs landscape and wildlife.

Our hamper range celebrates Sussex in style, but with careful thought given to packaging, which is all environmentally conscious. Sheep’s wool and ice packs insulate our courier boxes to maintain a cool temperature and ensure quality is maintained. Everything can be recycled, including the plastic liner which can be used again to keep food insulated (hot or cold) and all sorts of handy things, from protecting taps, trees and plants from winter frost, to loft insulation and pipe lagging. It makes for a great garden kneeling pad, or the filling can be used for compost, hanging baskets, cushion stuffing, pet baskets or donation to animal shelters.
