Blanc de Noirs 2015, Bolney Wine Estate – ranked one of England’s best (Evening Standard, 2018) there are few bottles of fizz either side of the channel that deliver such finesse. Made primarily from red grapes (Pinot Noir) in the traditional method, it has just a hint of Pinot Meunier added to balance it out, which results in a stylish vintage with lots of stone fruit character, notes of honey and pear. A good balance of sweetness and acidity with a lovely length. We’ve not tasted a better English fizz, so it’s no surprise that its makers won Best English Sparkling Wine at The Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships 2019.
